This was my first big commission, with David Feherty as my co-designer… can you imagine? Golf construction was virtually unknown in Turkey at that time so trying to make the operators understand golf shaping in my ‘pidgin’ Turkish was a challenge.
It has hosted Senior Tour and European Ladies Tour events on many occasions and pioneered the development of golf in Southern Turkey. It has stayed consistently inside Europe’s Top 100 courses, and remains a firm favourite with golfers of all nationalities.
